Carcinogenesis, Teratogenesis & Mutagenesis (CTM) is the official Journal of Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society and is undertaken by Shantou University Medical College. It is the source journal for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations. The impact factor is 0.379 and ranks fourth among more than 30 Chinese oncologic journals according to Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports 2003.
It may be worth mentioning that the Journal has been included in 14 Chinese important indexing systems, including CSTPC, CEPS, CJFD, CMCC, CBMDISC, CAJ-CD and so on.

  Male, han people, birthed at Tumen city in January 1957,a member of the Chinese communist party. Graduated and get B.S.M from Yanbian medical college in December 1982. Principal research trend on oncopathology and diagnositic pathology. Now as a leader of course of study on pathology and pathophysiology in Yangzhou university, director of the department of pathology, professor, master advisor (a studying doctor), associate director of pathology group in Yangzhou instiute of medicine, a member of the malpractice appraisement specialist treasury , a editor for <chinese modern clinical medicine journal>, <carcinogenesis, teratogenesis and mutagenesis>, <practice clinical medicine journal> and so on. After graduate as a teacher to be selected in alma mater. In August 1984 called in Jilin medical college, in 1988 and 1997 got advanced study discern in Tongji medical university and Shanghai medical university. In January 1999 promoted professor. Since November 1992 successively part time as an associate director of the department of basic medicine, director in Jilin medical college, vice dean of medical college in Beihua university. In August 2001 to be introduced in Yangzhou university medical college. Took the lead to establish a evoked rat hepatoma model with DENA and AFTB1 in china in 1990. Applicating tumor hybrid cell to depress rat experimental hepatoma obtained success in 1992. Completed antihepatocarcinoma effect study with lymphakines activated homogeneity splenocytes in vivo and in vitro in 1998. P53 express in liver cancer and clinical significance study and study of P53 antisense RNA inhibit HCC cell grow in 2001. For the past few years, taken charge of complete scientific research 8 articles, 6 achievements have passed appraisement and got government agency technology improvement prizes, and more than 20 research papers have been published.

 
 
 
  Cheng Shujun is currently as a professor of Cancer Institute (Hospital), Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, China, and Chief Scientist of both China State Key Basic Research Project “Fundamental investigation of human carcinogenesis and cancer therapy and prevention” and Beijing key Cancer Research Project “Tumor biomarker profiling and human cancer diagnosis and therapy”. He worked as a visiting scientist in Laboratoire de Medicine Experimental, Institute de la Recherches Scientifiques sur le Cancer, France (1978-1981), and in Department of Pathology, Medical College of Ohio, USA (1986-1987). He has established a series of short-term tests for the detection of environmental carcinogens and anti-carcinogens in China. He was elected as a Member, Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1999. Dr. Cheng is the President of Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society, and Vice President of China Anticancer Association. He found that the tea catechins showed a significant inhibitory effect against human genital condylomas and inflammatory hyperplasia. Based on the invention, he and his collaborators had received international patents “Composition for treating condyloma acuminate” in 1998. This invention had been approved to go for clinical phase III trial by US FDA. As invited speakers, Dr. Cheng has visited many institutes at foreign countries and attended at international conferences.
