Carcinogenesis, Teratogenesis & Mutagenesis (CTM) is the official Journal of Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society and is undertaken by Shantou University Medical College. It is the source journal for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations. The impact factor is 0.379 and ranks fourth among more than 30 Chinese oncologic journals according to Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports 2003.
It may be worth mentioning that the Journal has been included in 14 Chinese important indexing systems, including CSTPC, CEPS, CJFD, CMCC, CBMDISC, CAJ-CD and so on.

LI Yong
 

  Born in Dec. 1958, Prof. Li got his bachelor degree at Xinjiang Medical University in 1983, Master degree at Huaxi Medical University in 1988, and PhD. in 1995. Then he spent two years (1995-1997) in Shanghai Medical University as a postdoctoral fellow. Prof. Li is now a doctor supervisor and the director of Dept. of Nutrition and Food Hygiene, School of Public Health, Peking University Health Science Center, the Secretary-general of Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society, the Secretary-general and Vice President of Beijing Nutrition Association, the Secretary-general of food toxicology committee of Chinese toxicology association, one of the directors of Chinese nutrition association, and the Subeditor of the Chinese journal of ‘Carcinogenesis Teratogenesis and Mutagenesis’. Prof. Li has been awarded the scientific and technological progress award four times, and ‘excellent teacher of Peking University Health Science Center’ four times. In year 2001, he was awarded of the ‘Excellent person bestriding two centuries’ by the Chinese ministry of education. Prof. Li has supervised six PhDs, eight masters and three postdoctoral fellows, and now is supervising eleven PhDs, three masters and one postdoctoral fellow. Prof. Li has been devoted in the researches of nutrition, developmental molecular biology, molecular and food toxicology, and teratogenicity. He has completed two national 973 programs, two national 863 programs, eleven programs supported by national natural science foundation of china,two international cooperative programs, eight ministry 985 programs, etc. Recently, Prof. Li has published more than 100 papers, 20 of which are published in SCI journals. He has participated as editor in chief in many academic books’ composing, such as ‘Nutrition and Food Hygiene’ (2005),‘Senior Nutrition’ (2004), ‘Safety evaluation of food’(2005), and ‘Methodology and Technology of Developmental Toxicology’(2000), etc. Prof. Li has got four national patents

 
 
 
  Cheng Shujun is currently as a professor of Cancer Institute (Hospital), Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, China, and Chief Scientist of both China State Key Basic Research Project “Fundamental investigation of human carcinogenesis and cancer therapy and prevention” and Beijing key Cancer Research Project “Tumor biomarker profiling and human cancer diagnosis and therapy”. He worked as a visiting scientist in Laboratoire de Medicine Experimental, Institute de la Recherches Scientifiques sur le Cancer, France (1978-1981), and in Department of Pathology, Medical College of Ohio, USA (1986-1987). He has established a series of short-term tests for the detection of environmental carcinogens and anti-carcinogens in China. He was elected as a Member, Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1999. Dr. Cheng is the President of Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society, and Vice President of China Anticancer Association. He found that the tea catechins showed a significant inhibitory effect against human genital condylomas and inflammatory hyperplasia. Based on the invention, he and his collaborators had received international patents “Composition for treating condyloma acuminate” in 1998. This invention had been approved to go for clinical phase III trial by US FDA. As invited speakers, Dr. Cheng has visited many institutes at foreign countries and attended at international conferences.
