Carcinogenesis, Teratogenesis & Mutagenesis (CTM) is the official Journal of Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society and is undertaken by Shantou University Medical College. It is the source journal for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations. The impact factor is 0.379 and ranks fourth among more than 30 Chinese oncologic journals according to Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports 2003.
It may be worth mentioning that the Journal has been included in 14 Chinese important indexing systems, including CSTPC, CEPS, CJFD, CMCC, CBMDISC, CAJ-CD and so on.

Xue Jinglun
 

  Was born in Aug.1934, graduated from Fudan University in 1960. Professor in Genetics and PhD Supervisor since 1988 in Fudan University. He was a visiting scholar in Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY, USA from 1979-1982. He is the Chair Professor of Fudan University since 1996. President of CEMS from 1990-1998.
  Since 1986, funding by State High Tech Development Program (863), his group achieved the first clinical trial worldwide on gene therapy for hemophilia B mediated by retroviral vector. Later in 2003, the second trial was approved and performed mediated by adeno associate virus. From the above works, he received the National awards and other 16 awards from Ministry of Education and Shanghai Municipal government, HLHL awards in 1996. He is also the supervisor of National Top 100 PhD thesis in 2001.
  From 2004, supported by 863 and 973, he was focused on gene targeting in gene therapy projects.
He has published more than 200 original articles and 6 books on medical molecular genetics, gene therapy.

 
 
 
  Cheng Shujun is currently as a professor of Cancer Institute (Hospital), Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, China, and Chief Scientist of both China State Key Basic Research Project “Fundamental investigation of human carcinogenesis and cancer therapy and prevention” and Beijing key Cancer Research Project “Tumor biomarker profiling and human cancer diagnosis and therapy”. He worked as a visiting scientist in Laboratoire de Medicine Experimental, Institute de la Recherches Scientifiques sur le Cancer, France (1978-1981), and in Department of Pathology, Medical College of Ohio, USA (1986-1987). He has established a series of short-term tests for the detection of environmental carcinogens and anti-carcinogens in China. He was elected as a Member, Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1999. Dr. Cheng is the President of Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society, and Vice President of China Anticancer Association. He found that the tea catechins showed a significant inhibitory effect against human genital condylomas and inflammatory hyperplasia. Based on the invention, he and his collaborators had received international patents “Composition for treating condyloma acuminate” in 1998. This invention had been approved to go for clinical phase III trial by US FDA. As invited speakers, Dr. Cheng has visited many institutes at foreign countries and attended at international conferences.
