Carcinogenesis, Teratogenesis & Mutagenesis (CTM) is the official Journal of Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society and is undertaken by Shantou University Medical College. It is the source journal for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations. The impact factor is 0.379 and ranks fourth among more than 30 Chinese oncologic journals according to Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports 2003.
It may be worth mentioning that the Journal has been included in 14 Chinese important indexing systems, including CSTPC, CEPS, CJFD, CMCC, CBMDISC, CAJ-CD and so on.

ZHOU Zhi-jun
 

  MD, born on October 1964 in Anhui Province. Professor on Occupational Health and Industrial Toxicology, Vice Chairman of Department of Occupational Health and Toxicology, Deputy Dean of School of Public Health, Director of Institute of Radiation Medicine, Fudan University. Medical Bachelor (1985) and Master (1988) from Shanghai Medical University. Doctor of Medical Science (1996) from University of Erlangen- Nuernberg, Germany. Started joined studies of pesticide toxicology since mid of 1980’s in defining the human carcinogenicity led to prohibition of Chlordimeform. Contributing to 1)exploring the toxicity especially the cardiovascular effect of organophosphates, formamidines and pyrethroids; 2)experimental therapy on pesticide poisonings; 3)study on microcystin LR with hepato-toxicity relevant to liver cancer; 4)study SNP and susceptibility of pesticide toxicity; 5)exposure assessment and biological monitoring of pesticides and other environmental chemicals, etc. Many of the research projects are still continuously carrying on currently. Delivery of advances courses on Occupational Health and Toxicology. Mentor of more than twenty graduates. Active in professional societies, editing and publication. Interested in the research work on the relationship between some important pollutants, such as pesticides, heavy metals, other endocrine disruptors and health outcome among occupational exposed population and children.   Cheng Shujun is currently as a professor of Cancer Institute (Hospital), Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, China, and Chief Scientist of both China State Key Basic Research Project “Fundamental investigation of human carcinogenesis and cancer therapy and prevention” and Beijing key Cancer Research Project “Tumor biomarker profiling and human cancer diagnosis and therapy”. He worked as a visiting scientist in Laboratoire de Medicine Experimental, Institute de la Recherches Scientifiques sur le Cancer, France (1978-1981), and in Department of Pathology, Medical College of Ohio, USA (1986-1987). He has established a series of short-term tests for the detection of environmental carcinogens and anti-carcinogens in China. He was elected as a Member, Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1999. Dr. Cheng is the President of Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society, and Vice President of China Anticancer Association. He found that the tea catechins showed a significant inhibitory effect against human genital condylomas and inflammatory hyperplasia. Based on the invention, he and his collaborators had received international patents “Composition for treating condyloma acuminate” in 1998. This invention had been approved to go for clinical phase III trial by US FDA. As invited speakers, Dr. Cheng has visited many institutes at foreign countries and attended at international conferences.
