Carcinogenesis, Teratogenesis & Mutagenesis (CTM) is the official Journal of Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society and is undertaken by Shantou University Medical College. It is the source journal for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations. The impact factor is 0.379 and ranks fourth among more than 30 Chinese oncologic journals according to Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports 2003.
It may be worth mentioning that the Journal has been included in 14 Chinese important indexing systems, including CSTPC, CEPS, CJFD, CMCC, CBMDISC, CAJ-CD and so on.

  Cheng Shujun is currently as a professor of Cancer Institute (Hospital), Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, China, and Chief Scientist of both China State Key Basic Research Project “Fundamental investigation of human carcinogenesis and cancer therapy and prevention” and Beijing key Cancer Research Project “Tumor biomarker profiling and human cancer diagnosis and therapy”. He worked as a visiting scientist in Laboratoire de Medicine Experimental, Institute de la Recherches Scientifiques sur le Cancer, France (1978-1981), and in Department of Pathology, Medical College of Ohio, USA (1986-1987). He has established a series of short-term tests for the detection of environmental carcinogens and anti-carcinogens in China. He was elected as a Member, Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1999. Dr. Cheng is the President of Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society, and Vice President of China Anticancer Association. He found that the tea catechins showed a significant inhibitory effect against human genital condylomas and inflammatory hyperplasia. Based on the invention, he and his collaborators had received international patents “Composition for treating condyloma acuminate” in 1998. This invention had been approved to go for clinical phase III trial by US FDA. As invited speakers, Dr. Cheng has visited many institutes at foreign countries and attended at international conferences.
