电子垃圾拆解区新生儿脐带血铬水平

Umbilical Cord Blood Chrome Level of Newborns in an E_waste Recycling Area

摘要: 背景与目的: 探讨电子垃圾拆解区——贵屿镇新生儿铬污染状况及其影响因素。 材料与方法: 选择2006年5~9月足月健康新生儿152例,其中来自贵屿镇的100例(暴露组),来自周边乡镇的52例(对照组)。采用石墨炉原子吸收光谱法检测新生儿脐带血铬水平,通过调查表对产妇进行问卷调查,分析相关影响因素。 结果: 贵屿组新生儿脐带血铬几何均值为303.38 μg/L,与对照组20.30 μg/L相比,差别有统计学意义(P<0.01)。孕妇从事电子垃圾处理相关工作等因素与新生儿脐带血铬水平呈正相关。 结论: 电子垃圾拆解区部分新生儿铬负荷处于较高的水平,新生儿的铬负荷水平与当地的电子垃圾拆解业及所造成的铬污染有关,铬污染可能对当地新生儿的健康构成威胁。

Abstract: BACKGROUND & AIM: To investigate umbilical cord blood chrome level of newborns in Guiyu town,an e_waste recycling area,and to discuss the effects of e_waste on newborn's health. MATERIALS AND METHODS: 152 full_term newborns belonged to two groups, one group from Guiyu (Guiyu group,n=100) and another group from other neighboring towns (control group,n=52). The chrome level of umbilical cord blood was determined with graphite atomizer absorption spectrophotometer. Questionnaires for mothers were used for analysis of related factors. RESULTS: Compared with the control group (20.30 μg/L), the geometric mean of chrome level 303.38 μg/L in the Guiyu group was significantly different (P<0.01). The Guiyu group of newborns with relatively high chrome levels in umbilical cord blood were from pregnant women who were working with e_waste recycling. CONCLUSION: There were close relationships between the Guiyu group of newborns with relatively high chrome levels in umbilical cord blood and local e_waste recycling activities as well chrome pollution locally. Environmental chrome pollution could threaten the children's health around the recycling site.
