VEGF_C,MMP9在宫颈癌中的表达及其意义

摘要: 背景与目的: 分析不同类型的宫颈癌组织中血管内皮生长因子(vascular endothelial grown factor,VEGF)、基质金属蛋白酶_9(matrix metalloproteinase_9,MMP_9)的表达,以期进一步探讨VEGF、MMP_9在宫颈癌发病中的作用。 材料与方法: 选取宫颈癌石蜡组织标本45例,宫颈上皮内瘤变(CIN)20例,另20例同期正常宫颈及炎症病变组织标本。采用免疫组织化学方法检测VEGF_C、MMP_9的表达情况。 结果: VEGF_C在宫颈癌中的表达率明显高于正常组织和CIN(P<0.05),以正常宫颈组织、CIN、宫颈癌为序,MMP_9阳性表达率逐步升高(P<0.05)。VEGF_C,MMP_9的阳性过表达率在肿瘤淋巴结转移组及临床分期≥II期组分别高于无淋巴结转移组及临床分期≤Ⅰ期组。宫颈浸润深度>2/3组织中的VEGF_C,MMP_9的过表达率明显高于宫颈深度≤2/3者(P<0.05)。 结论: VEGF_C、MMP_9与宫颈癌发生有关,可作为判断宫颈癌恶性程度和评价预后的指标。

Abstract: BACKGROUND & AIM: To investigate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor_C(VEGF_C) and matrix metalloproteinase_9(MMP_9) in cervical carcinoma and explore the roles in cervical cancer. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of VEGF_C and MMP_9 in paraffin samples of 45 cases of cervical carcinoma, 20 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and 20 cases of normal cervical tissue. RESULTS: The expression of VEGF_C was significantly higher in carcinoma than that in normal cervical tissue and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia.The expression of MMP_9 became stronger and stronger with the progression of cervical diseases from normal tissue to cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and to invasive carcinoma of cervix uteri.In cases with pelvic lymph node metastasis,FIGO stagingⅡ,neoplasms with deep muscular invasion the rates of overexpression of VEGF_C and MMP_9 were significantly higher than that in those without deep invasion. CONCLUSION: Both VEGF_C and MMP_9 were involved in the pathogenesis of cervical cancer and measurement of VEGF_C and MMP_9 expression may be developed as a means to evaluate the malignant degree and prognosis of cervical cancer.
